MUDGUARD X PEC ZWOLLE
CREATIVITY THAT HITS DIFFERENT
FROM TALK TO ENERGY
The project with PEC Zwolle started inside Community Champions where Christian and Patrick opened the doors for us. The group of seventeen to twenty year olds stepped in curious, a little quiet, but ready. Kik (owner of Mudguard) took the floor and shared what it feels like to build a brand from nothing and how you move through wins, failures and all the noise in between. We talked marketing, standing out, finding your clients and keeping your drive when you’re young and hungry. Little by little the room warmed up and the questions kept coming, turning the session into a real back-and-forth.
CREATING WITH PURPOSE
When the talk shifted to the design part the vibe changed in the best way. No one had to draw perfect lines. It was about the story behind the tee. Everyone started with a moodboard to catch the right feeling. Some put in their headphones to lock in, others sketched right away. Ideas turned personal fast. Memories, role models, moments that shaped them. The room felt focused and calm, each person building something that meant something. After the sketches were clear they moved to digital and pushed their concept into a first version they could stand behind.
THE WINNER AND THE MOMENT
To close the workshop each participant stepped forward to share their work which boosted confidence and opened the group up even more. One design hit hard. A butterfly with Trust the process across the chest. Simple but full of meaning. Our design team picked it as the winner and brought it to life in Portugal where it was made into a real Mudguard tee. Handing it back to her felt special and she wears it proud today. This is why Mudguard does community projects. Real stories, real growth, real connection.
